Probable Playing XI:

Barbados Tridents:

Batsmen:

Opener Kyle Hope played a good knock in his previous match and will be looking to contribute more for the Tridents in the coming games. Pakistan batsman Ahmed Shehzad has played only a couple of games for the Tridents, scoring 28 runs in 2 innings and could play an important role against the Warriors.

Shoaib Malik is currently the third highest run-getter for the Tridents this season and in the absence of AB de Villiers, he will have to stand tall for the Tridents in the remainder of this season. Wicket-keeper Nicholas Pooran has shown his ability to play the big shots and the Tridents will be hoping for him to come good against the Warriors.

All-rounders:

Skipper Kieron Pollard has not exactly had a great season for the Tridents, scoring 135 runs in 8 matches at a strike-rate of 156 and has picked up a couple of wickets while bowling as well. South African all-rounder David Wiese has picked up 4 wickets in 6 games and has shown in the past that he can pick up important wickets.

Bowlers:

West Indies bowler Ravi Rampaul is currently the leading wicket-taker for the Tridents, picking up 12 wickets in 8 games at an economy rate of under 8 runs per over. The Tridents will miss the services of Wayne Parnell with Marchant de Lange coming in as a replacement.

Probable XI: Kyle Hope, Ahmed Shehzad, Shoaib Malik, Kieron Pollard (Captain), Nicholas Pooran (Wicket-keeper), David Wiese, Shamar Springer, Navin Stewart, Imran Khan, Ravi Rampaul, Marchant de Lange.

Guyana Amazon Warriors:

Batsmen:

Opener Dwayne Smith played a solid innings of 56 in the previous game against the Zouks. Australian batsman Nic Maddinson was given an opportunity in the previous game but failed to make an impression.

Chris Lynn continued his good form for the Warriors, scoring 86 runs but could not steer them to a victory against the Zouks. Anthony Bramble could manage only 8 runs in the previous match and will need to prove himself to maintain his spot on the team.

All-rounders:

Rayad Emrit could play a vital role for the Warriors against the Tridents with his all-round abilities. Emrit has picked up 9 wickets in 8 matches at an economy rate of 8.25 runs per over. Smith could also be considered for bowling in the mid overs.

Bowlers:

Sohail Tanvir is currently the leading wicket-taker for this season in the entire league and will be a great boost for the Warriors. Tanvir has picked up 14 wickets in 8 games at an economy rate of 6.56 runs per over. Leggie Adam Zampa could prove to be useful against the Tridents.

Probable XI: Dwayne Smith, Nic Maddinson, Chris Lynn, Anthony Bramble (Wicket-keeper), Shimron Hetmyer, Rayad Emrit (Captain), Jason Mohammed, Sohail Tanvir, Veerasammy Permaul, Orlando Peters, Adam Zampa.

Prediction: The Tridents have better batting depth when compared to the Warriors and will start off as the favorites to win the game.
