Mohali Pitch Report

Both T20 World Cup matches played at Mohali so far have been high-scoring affairs and we can expect a flat batting track on Sunday as well. It will be quite a relief for the Indian team who have encountered rank turners in their 3 previous games.

Although MS Dhoni has been in favour of batting second after winning the toss, he might want to re-consider his choice as teams batting first have won both matches at Mohali. However, the pitch should remain true throughout the duration of the match.

It is now reported that pitch has been changed to turning track on hosts’ request.

India vs Australia, Today’s Match Prediction

It is difficult to pick a clear winner in this encounter, but Australia certainly hold a slight edge over the hosts. They lost a narrow game to New Zealand but have bounced back well to beat both Pakistan and Bangladesh in back-to-back games.

India, on the other hand, were handed a thrashing by the Kiwis and almost lost their game to Bangladesh. However, Team India's recent T20I form against the Aussies has been brilliant and it would give them confidence going into the match.
