Etihad Airways and Jet Airways were on Tuesday named as the airline partners and principal sponsors for Indian Premier League (IPL) team Mumbai Indians.
The announcement was made ahead of the IPL opening ceremony at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata on Tuesday.
“We are delighted to renew our association with international brands like Etihad Airways and Jet Airways as principal sponsor. We look forward to strengthening our relationship across all platforms,” Akash Ambani of Mumbai Indians said.
Mumbai Indians travel to Eden Gardens to face Kolkata Knight Riders in the opening game of IPL 8 on Wednesday.
