Virat Kohli, the Indian vice-captain, has taken the first spot in the ICC ODI rankings for batsmen, usurping South African captain AB de Villiers. Kohli is currently on 881 points, 9 points clear of De Villiers. Australian batsman George Bailey is at the third position with a career best rating of 856.
Indian captain MS Dhoni and opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan also find their spots in the top 10.
