ICC World T20 2016: ICC announces umpire and match referee appointments for finals

Rod Tucker will umpire the men’s final between England and West Indies along with Kumar Dharmasena

The ICC today announced details of the umpire and match referee appointments for the women’s and men’s finals of the ICC World Twenty20 India 2016, which will take place at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Sunday.

Andy Pycroft of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Match Referees will lead the playing control team for the women’s final between three-time defending champion Australia and the West Indies which gets underway at14h30 while Ranjan Madugalle, also of the elite panel, will referee the men’s final between England and the West Indies, which starts at 19h00.

The on-field umpires for the women’s final will be Aleem Dar and Richard Illingworth of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Umpires with Nigel Llong, also from the elite panel, as third umpire and S Ravi of the elite panel as fourth umpire.

The men’s final will be umpired by Kumar Dharmasena and Rod Tucker, with Marais Erasmus, also from the elite panel, as third umpire and Bruce Oxenford from the elite panel as fourth umpire.
