Imran Tahir gives his 100 percent every time he plays: JP Duminy

Delhi Daredevils Skipper, JP Duminy, lavished praise on leg spinner Imran Tahir and said that he gives his 100 percent irrespective of the team he plays for. "He (Imran Tahir) gives his 100 percent no matter what cap he puts on," Duminy said at the post-match presentation ceremony.

Tahir, in his quota of four overs, ended up with figures of 3/22 against the Mumbai Indians last night and all of his 3 wickets came in the 17th over which helped him to turn the match around and win it for DD.

Duminy praised his bowlers for being able to defend the target and bowl aggressively: "We got to 190 but it was important for the bowlers to bowl well, they came out with an aggressive mindset. Hopefully, we can make it better.”

When asked about how many times he has hit 6 sixes in an innings, he said: "It's quite a small ground but I will take six of those sixes... it was a nice wicket to bat on."

Delhi Daredevils had set a target of 191 for Mumbai Indians thanks to the partnership between Shreyas Iyer and JP Duminy who ended up with 84 and 78* runs respectively. In reply, MI just managed to score 153/9 in the end.

The Dardevils play their next match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Ferozeshah Kotla, Delhi on Sunday.
