MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, Virat Kohli and Misbah-ul-Haq during the ICC Champions Trophy match in 2013

Modern cricket arch-rivals India and Pakistan will play their first match of the ICC World Cup 2015 between themselves on February 15th at the Adelaide Oval in Australia. This is their sixth meeting in World Cups. They previously met in 1992, 1996, 1999, 2003 and 2011. It is a well-known fact that Pakistan has never beaten India in World Cups. Pakistan would want to break this jinx while India would want to continue the winning streak and begin the World Cup in a positive way.
