IPL will end on 29 May 2016. Although, we still have a lot of cricketing action in the coming months. Zimbabwe is set to host India for three ODIs and three T20s in June. The first match is on 11 June 2016 while the last match is on 22 June 2016. Initially, there were plans for three ODIs and a test match. With the revised plans, we have three T20s instead of the only test match.
Zimbabwe Cricket managing director Wilfred Mukondiwa said, "After finalising all the formalities with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), we are pleased to announce the incoming tour scheduled for this June." All the matches will take place at Harare Sports Club, Zimbabwe.

The Indian cricket team played against Australia and Sri Lanka in 2016. India toured Australia in January 2016. Indian cricket team lost four ODIs against Australia. Team India managed to sweep the three T20s, though.

Zimbabwe visited Bangladesh in January 2016 and played 4 Twenty20 Internationals. Bangladesh and Zimbabwe won two matches each.

India and Zimbabwe in WT20 2016:
India reached the semi-finals of the recently concluded WT20. On the other hand, Zimbabwe failed to qualify for the Super 10. That dropped them even further in the T20 rankings.
Trivia- Afghanistan had an amazing WT20 2016. They currently stand at number nine above Bangladesh and Zimbabwe (as on 3 May 2016 ).
India vs Zimbabwe – Previous Encounters:
India toured Zimbabwe in 2013. This tour consisted of five One-day Internationals. India recorded a 5-0 win in that series. This was India’s first 5-0 sweep in an away series.
India toured Zimbabwe in 2015 as well. India had a successful ODI campaign yet again. Team India won all three ODIs during that tour. However, India and Zimbabwe each won one of the two T20s played.
Indian Cricket Team will likely win the series yet again. If they do, they'll make it three in a row against Zimbabwe.
