IPL 2014: David Miller bows down to phenomenal batting skills of Virender Sehwag

Kings XI Punjab batsman David Miller has said that Virender Sehwag is a phenomenal player and his batting leaves Miller speechless.

Sehwag smashed 122 off 58 balls in the qualifier against Chennai Super Kings last Friday. Miller had the best seat for most of the innings. He also played a good hand and ensured that Punjab could reach a good total .

Speaking on Sehwag’s knock, Miller said, “Speechless! It was phenomenal to stand once again on the non-striker's end and watch him perform like that. You always hear a lot of things about people until you meet them, and Sehwag has been a phenomenal man.

“I have really learnt a lot from him and just the way he goes about things; he has been a humble man and very generous and really good to the younger players. He strikes me as fearless. He plays his natural game no matter what the situation. He just backs himself 100 percent. Maxwell just clears the ropes so many times, then just finishes off what Sehwag starts.”
