Sunrisers Hyderabad captain David Warner criticised Royal Challengers Bangalore spinner Tabraiz Shamsi’s wicket celebration.
Shamsi picked up the prized wicket of Warner when he was caught at long-off for a blistering 92. Following the fall of the wicket, Shamsi sprinted to deep cover and started performing a dance routine with RCB captain Virat Kohli.
On his way back to the Sunrisers dugout, Warner’s eyes were focused in the direction of the celebration and it was evident that the batsman was not happy.
In the post-match ceremony Warner was asked about his view on the celebration and the Australian batsman made it very clear that he wasn’t impressed by the behaviour. He also further said that this kind of behaviour would not be tolerated under his watch.
He said, "I was looking at Virat Kohli and I don't think he was too impressed until he (Shamsi) got a bit closer.I think it's a bit hard for a captain to stand there and not go (through) the motions. In my team, if someone does that at 150 off 15 overs, I wouldn't accept that at all. I think it's a bit fancy to be honest."
The hard-hitting batsman wasn’t the only cricketer unimpressed by the South African’s behaviour. Australian leg-spinner Adam Zampa, who is playing for the Rising Pune Supergiants in the IPL took to Twitter to express his discontent over the celebration.
Zampa tweeted.
While the Royal Challengers players enjoyed Warner’s wicket in emphatic fashion, it was the Australian who had the final laugh as his side won the match in Hyderabad.

Warner, who has been in scintillating form with the bat so far in this year’s IPL took back the Orange cap from Virat Kohli. He has scored 386 runs in the tournament which is 5 more than the Indian test captain, who has played one game less than the left-handed batsman.
The 29-year-old’s scores this IPL are 58, 13, 90*, 74*, 59, 0, 92. He is leading the team from the front at the top of the order.
Shamsi was called into the Bangalore squad as the replacement for injured West Indian spinner Samuel Badree. He has played in three matches so far and taken three wickets.
