Shane Watson had a great day. He picked up four wickets today. Chahal took the crucial wicket of Dwayne Smith. Abdulla and Chris Jordan took two wickets each.

Dhawal Kulkarni struck gold for the Lions. He took four wickets in his spell. It brought Gujarat Lions right back into the game. Other thanKulkarni’s brilliance, there was nothing extraordinary from Gujarat’s bowlers. It was all AB de Villiers today.

We have a new Purple Cap holder. Shane Watson leads the wicket-takers chart with 20 wickets. Yuzvendra Chahal follows Watson. He too has 20 wickets to his name. Dhawal Kulkarni moves to the third spot.
