Rohit Sharma is currently one of the most elegant batsmen in world cricket with his delectable array of shots and effortless timing. The opener showed his classy side off the field too with a poignant handwritten note to his fans which he uploaded on Twitter.
The note read, “Guys, Your love and support has been overwhelming! Thank you for all the wonderful wishes; not just today but over the years too! Whether things are going well for me or not, you all have stuck with me and that means the world to me.” (sic)
The 29-year old is currently leading the Mumbai Indians in the IPL where he has been in top form with the bat. Signing off with a flourish, he added, “Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I would not be who I am today without all of you! Love always, Ro.”
One of the major reasons behind this admirable gesture is to connect with his numerous fans on a more personal level. His accompanying Twitter post read, “I thought I'd change it up from the normal thank you post or video and send you a handwritten letter instead!”

Rohit started his career as a middle-order batsman for Team India in limited-overs cricket. However, he came into his own when he was promoted to the opening spot during the latter part of 2012.
India’s victorious campaign in the 2013 Champions Trophy could be largely credited to the solid starts that Rohit gave in combination with his opening partner Shikhar Dhawan. Despite not being able to assert himself on the Test arena, Rohit has established himself to be a crucial component of India’s white-ball cricket with his monstrous appetite for runs.
