Kings XI Punjab had an another bad outing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) as they lost their third match of the season as the Kolkata Knight Riders won by six wickets at Mohali. The win took the Knight Riders top of the table.
After having been put into bat, the Kings kept losing wickets at regular intervals and failed to post a competitive total. Only Shaun Marsh was able to score a decent knock to help his side reach a score of 138.
In reply, the KKR openers continued their brilliant form as they set the perfect foundation for a successful and comfortable chase. Robin Uthappa's quickfire fifty set the right tone and the made the job of reaching the target with relative ease.
