The overall head-to-head win record between the Delhi Daredevils and Royal Challengers Bangalore is tied at five wins apiece, but in the recent past, it is the latter who has dominated matches played between the two teams. RCB have won four matches on trot against DD including the nail biting Super Over earlier this season in Bengaluru.

Chris Gayle has so far scored 566 runs in IPL this season and is just 8 runs short of regaining the Orange Cap from CSK’s Michael Hussey who has to his name 574 runs.

Vinay Kumar of RCB shares the second spot in leading wicket-takers list with James Faulkner of RR with 19 wickets this season so far. Dwayne Bravo of CSK leads the race for the Purple Cap with 21 wickets.

Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli have to their name the second-highest partnership in T20 cricket – an unbeaten 204 runs which came against Daredevils, in Delhi, last season.

Royal Challengers Bangalore is one of the two teams who have not been bowled out this season. The other team that holds this proud record is Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Spinners have dominated batsmen much more than their fast bowling counterparts at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium this season. The economy rate of spinners at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium is 6.02 whereas pace bowlers have been belted around the ground at the economy rate of 7.54.

What’s next in store for teams: Delhi Daredevils travel to Chennai Super Kings’ den on May 14 while the Royal Challengers Bangalore head to Ranchi for their clash with Kolkata Knight Riders on May 12.
