New Delhi, Nov 18 (IANS) Delhi Police Monday filed a second charge sheet in the Indian Premier League (IPL) spot-fixing case against alleged fixer Chandresh Jain alias Jupiter, and said he has links with underworld dons Dawood Ibrahim and Chhota Shakeel.

Dawood was identified as the kingpin of the IPL racket against whom non-bailable warrant has been issued.

Police said intercepted telephonic conversations revealed that the accused, Jupiter, was in constant touch with Salman alias Master, said to be associated with the underworld dons.

Police have also named 39 other accused who were charge-sheeted earlier in the case.

Jain has also been charged with offences like cheating and conspiracy under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and provisions of the stringent Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).

On July 30, Delhi Police filed its first charge sheet in the case, alleging that Dawood and Chhota Shakeel, who have been controlling the spot-fixing and betting market in cricket in India, were behind the IPL spot-fixing scandal.

Cricketers S. Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan are among the 39 accused in the scandal related to the IPL-6 held earlier this year.
