For KXIP, it is the chance to try out the players who have been warming the benches so far. Not much has gone right for them. The big guns Maxwell and Miller have failed miserably. Apart from Mohit and Sandeep Sharma and occasionally, Axar Patel, there hasn’t been too much contribution from rest of the bowlers.

Murali Vijay has battled hard since he has been given the job of captaincy. He has played some superb innings off late. But there has been no other batsman who has helped him in winning the games. They needed a lot more from Maxwell and Miller like they performed in previous seasons.
