Monty Panesar harrasses American blonde after Ashes defeat

English cricketer Monty Panesar finds himself in yet another controversy after few English newspapers reported that he tried to tempt an American lady to his room at the team’s hotel after losing the 4th Ashes Test against Australia in Melbourne.

The spinner was said to be chatting with the American lady over a dating phone app, Tinder and wanted her to visit him because the players were not allowed outside the team hotel after suffering an embarrassing defeat in the fourth Test and trailing the series 4-0.

Alison noticed Panesar when he uploaded his picture of batting against Australia on the app. She said, “I thought it was a bit strange he would be behaving like that so soon after they had lost. I wanted to talk to him about cricket, but he had no intentions of that. All he seemed interested in was getting me over to the hotel.”

She added, “I’d been to the Melbourne game, my first cricket match, the day before so I realised who he was. I sent a message because I wondered whether it was really him. I was shocked when it was. I would have met him in a public place, but I was not going to meet him at his apartment by myself. You would hope people do not do that.”

Alison’s revelation is a further blow to Panesar, 32 who has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. Recently he was arrested and fined for urinating on the bouncers of a pub. He had a bitter split with his former wife Gursharan Ratta earlier as well after a bust up outside a pub and was ordered to stay away from her.

Panesar has played 50 Tests and 26 ODIs for England, taking 167 and 24 wickets respectively.
