MS Dhoni's home in Ranchi stoned by unidentified assailants

MS Dhoni’s residence in Ranchi was attacked with stones on Wednesday

Indian cricket team’s captain MS Dhoni‘s home in Ranchi was attacked by unidentified people on Wednesday night.

Dhoni’s family was at the Jharkhand State Cricket Association stadium at that time, watching the 4th ODI between India and Australia, which was called off due to rain.

Stones were thrown at Dhoni’s residence in Harmu Housing colony, which resulted in the huge front glass cover being shattered. No formal complaint has been lodged by Dhoni’s family as of now, and it’s reported that the police are waiting for the CCTV footage to find the identity of the culprits.

“It is the fifth time that the house was attacked and unless we verify the CCTV footages we are not going to accuse anyone blindly,” said Gautam Gupta, Dhoni’s brother-in-law.

Dhoni’s family has denied that this attack has anything to do with any result of recent matches.

In recent weeks, since the end of the tri-series in West Indies, MS Dhoni has spent quite some time in Ranchi, enjoying the international break and attending many charity events.
