Nepal National Cricket team to go Sri Lanka for preparation

In preparation to the ACC Emerging Team Cup Cricket Tournament, which will be in Singapore from August 17 to 25, 2013, Nepal National Men’s Cricket Team is all set to go to Sri Lanka for the preparation and practice matches prior to leaving to Singapore to compete in the ACC Emerging Team Cup Cricket Tournament.

According to the course at Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), Nepal team will leave for Sri Lanka on last week of July. The team is scheduled to practice with Sri Lanka National Cricket Team and play numerous matches with the Sri Lanka National Cricket team as well as various other teams. The team will in Sri Lanka from 1st August to 14th August 2013 and the team will leave for Singapore on 15th August to participate in the ACC Emerging Team Cup Cricket Tournament.

Nepal, India, Pakistan and Afghanistan are placed in Group A in the ACC Emerging Team Cup Cricket Tournament while Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, UAE and the host country Singapore are placed in Group B. The matches will be played in 50 overs. India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are fielding their under-23 side in the ACC Emerging Team Cup Cricket Tournament.
