Royal Challengers Bangalore lost their 3rd consecutive match last night, despite excelling in 2 out of 3 departments of the game. However, their best efforts with the ball and in the field could not save counter their poor batting display.
Varun Aaron (before getting cramps), Yuzvendra Chahal and Mitchell Starc were brilliant with the ball, keeping the Kings XI Punjab batsmen in check. Apart from his bowling, Starc lifted the team with his superb display of fielding, which resulted in the wickets of Wriddhiman Saha and the dangerous Glenn Maxwell.
Aaron bowled with much pace and kept his accuracy, but he shares the credit for his two wickets with Starc, who pulled off two excellent catches on the fine leg boundary. Here, watch yourself:
