India's opening batsman Rohit Sharma turned 29 today and he celebrated the occasion with his wife Ritika Sajdeh and close friends. The Mumbai Indians skipper is having an excellent run in the current IPL season, and had blasted 68 off 49 to take his team to victory against Kolkata Knight Riders on Thursday in Mumbai.
Rohit also scored an unbeaten 84 off 54 against KKR during their previous match this season at the Eden Gardens.

His wife, Ritika took to Twitter to wish the Mumbai cricketer. They got married on December 13th last year in a private ceremony in Mumbai. Ritika is a sports event manager based in the city and had known Rohit for more than six years before they got hitched.

Rohit Sharma off late has taken a stride towards consistency, kick-starting the year with his fabulous performance down-under. He broke a plethora of records when he smashed 171 off 163 in the first ODI and went on to score another ton in the next ODI.
He continued his decent form during the Asia Cup and T20 World Cup as well, though he did not make any big scores. The official BCCI, ICC and the IPL accounts had also wished him on the micro-blogging site:
