Sachin Tendulkar celebrates his 41st birthday

It is a day of celebration for all cricket fans across the world in general and Indians in particular. The greatest batsman in Indian history, Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar was born on this day in 1973. There is no denying about how proud this Little Master has made each and every Indian with his tremendous talent and vigour.

Sachin is the role model for many. There is so much about life that one can learn from him.

Sachin scored a duck in his debut ODI match against Pakistan. This Master Blaster has faced a lot of failures in life but what makes him unique is his ability to overcome those failures with a smile on his face. Sachin was the first cricketer beneficiary of the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award.

He was also honoured with the Bharat Ratna recently- the highest civilian award in India.
