Sachin Tendulkar is the only Indian player in Wisden all-time World Test XI

Sachin Tendulkar will be retiring from international cricket after his 200th Test against West Indies which starts on November 14, 2013.

Wisden has released its all-time Test World eleven to earmark 150 years of the Cricketers’ Almanack. Sachin Tendulkar happens to be the only Indian cricketer who finds a place in a team that comprises of cricketing legends.

The World XI, which has Sir Jack Hobbs and William Gilbert Grace as its openers, is captained by Sir Donald Bradman. Shane Warne has been picked as the lone spinner in the team which has Wasim Akram, Malcolm Marshall and Sydney Barnes as its pace bowlers.

Some notable exclusions include Sunil Gavaskar, Len Hutton, Adam Gilchrist, Dennis Lillee, Brian Lara, Barry Richards, Imran Khan, Muttiah Muralitharan, Bill O’Reilly, Fred Trueman, George Headley and Wally Hammond.
