Shane Warne has admitted that he is dating Australian model Emily Scott

Australian cricketing legend Shane Warne has finally admitted that he is dating Australian Playboy model Emily Scott. The two of them have been spotted together in various high-profile events in London recently, including a Coldplay gig and upcoming Aussie star Nick Kyrgios’ brilliant victory against World No.1 Rafael Nadal in Wimbledon, leading to speculation that they are a couple, only for Warne to deny the rumours by using the lame excuse that they are “just good friends.”

But it looks Warne could no longer hide the truth, and acknowledged that he was, indeed, in a relationship on Twitter before heading to watch Nick Kyrgios take on Canadian Milos Raonic in the quarter-finals of Wimbledon.

He tweeted:

The latest revelation by Warne is a quick U-turn on his earlier stance, even scoffing at the media, via his Twitter account, just about a month ago for linking him with Scott just as a result of being seen together in the public on a few occasions.

“Wow, 8 years of friendship, a full moon party & attending a mates 50th turns into us dating? What’s next, down on a knee?”

“We’re good friends. Both single and intent to keep it that way, end of story,” he had said.

“If and when I’m ever in a relationship, I will let you know!!”

The admission by Warne of dating Scott just comes a few months after ending his relationship with English actress Liz Hurley.

Warne and Hurley had got engaged in 2011 and were together for more than 3 years but parted ways amicably in November last year.
