Stats: Bowlers who dismissed all the eleven batsmen in a Test match

England off-spinner Jim Laker was the first bowler to take 10 wickets in an innings in a Test match

Here is a list of bowlers who hold a unique record of having dismissed all the eleven opposition batsman in a Test match. The fact that it has only happened six times in the history of Test cricket shows how rare an occurence it is.

While Jim Laker’s name can be found on the list, the only other bowler to have ever taken 10 wickets in an innings – Anil Kumble – is missing. Despite taking 14 wickets in the entire match, the Indian leg-spinner did not account for Pakistani number 11 – Waqar Younis – in either of the innings. Infact, Waqar remained not out in both the innings of the Test match at the Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi in 1999.
