Here is a list of teams that have scored the highest innings totals ever in the history of Test cricket. In a Test match between Sri Lanka and India at the R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo, the home team, in reply to India’s 537 in the first innings, posted a mammoth total of 952/6. Sanath Jayasuriya, who scored a 578-ball 340, made complete use of the flat deck and the innocous bowling attack.
