Sri Lankan right-arm fast bowler Lasith Malinga has become the leading wicket taker in ICC World T20 matches on Thursday during the 1st semifinal between Sri Lanka and West Indies.
Malinga pegged back West Indies in last night’s semifinal when he sent back both the openers, Dwayne Smith and Chris Gayle back to the hut, ending up with figures of 2-0-5-2.
He overtook Saeed Ajmal, who has taken 36 wickets so far in the competition.
