Muttiah Muralitharan

The former Sri Lankan off-spinner Muttiah Muralitharan finished his career with 11 player-of-the-series awards which is the most by any player in the history of cricket. He has taken 800 wickets in his 133-match Test career. Muralitharan is followed by the recently retired South African all-rounder Jacques Kallis who has 9 player-of-the-series awards.
