The match between Australia and England at Southampton set the record for most runs from fours and sixes in a T20 international match, among many others. A staggering 457 runs were scored on the day, of which 310 came from boundaries and sixes, shattering the previous record of 286, which was created in a match between New Zealand and Australia in 2010.
