Stats: Most Test centuries for Pakistan

Younis Khan, with his twin Test centuries in the first Test against Australia in Dubai that Pakistan won by a massive margin of 221 runs, edged past Inzamam-ul-Haq to become the batsman with most Test tons for his country.

With 26 hundreds, the 36-year-old right hander is the also the only active cricketer in the top 5. The century in the first innings also happened to be his first against the opposition in the longer format of the game.

Inzamam, who holds the record for the highest individual score in an innings for Pakistan (329), is followed by Mohammad Yousuf with 24 tons.

Javed Miandad and Saleem Malik complete the top 5 with 23 and 15 centuries respectively. Among active cricketers, wicketkeeper-batsman Kamran Akmal, with 6 Test centuries, comes 18th in the list of batsmen with most 100+ scores for his country.

Having scored 7819 runs, Younis is third in the list of all-time leading run-scorers for Pakistan in Test cricket. Miandad leads the list with 8832 runs, followed by Inzamam at the second spot.
