Here is a list of players who have carried their bat through a completed One Day International innings.

Carrying the bat is defined as an opener batting through an innings to end up as the only not out batsman while all the remaining ten batsmen get dismissed. It does not apply to a team in ODIs batting the complete 50 overs with wickets still standing.

Update on 16 October 2016 – New Zealand have collapsed for an unsightly 190 in the 1st ODI of the series against India, being played at Dharamshala. Opener Tom Latham carried his bat through the innings, finishing with a score of 79 off 98 balls. Tim Southee top scored with 55 at No.10, but no other Kiwi batsmen could stand their ground on the day.

Latham has become the first ever New Zealand cricketer and the tenth in the world to carry his bat through a completed ODI innings. He has been by far the best Kiwi batsman on tour in the Test series, and has started the ODI series by securing a place in history.
