All the T20 fans, rejoice. IPL 2016 starts on April 9, 2016. It starts just a week after we finish World T20 on April 3, 2016. Sunrisers Hyderabad will start their campaign on April 12, 2016 against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.

Sunrisers Hyderabad entered the IPL in 2013 after replacing the defunct Deccan Chargers after the Chargers had won the IPL in 2009. The Sunrisers had managed to reach the playoffs of IPL 2013.
Sunrisers did not have a great IPL campaign last year though. They failed to reach the play-offs and finished sixth. On the brighter side, David Warner from Sunrisers Hyderabad held the Orange Cap for being the leading run scorer in IPL 2015.

Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad is the Sunrisers’ home ground. With a stadium capacity of 65,000, the Orange Army is expected to have some quality backing. Unlike Delhi and Punjab, Sunrisers Hyderabad will be playing all their home games here itself.

David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan will hope to fire at the top. Sunrisers will be hoping that David Warner can retain his Orange Cap. Kane Williamson is having a fantastic time in WT20 2016. Sunrisers Hyderabad would want that to continue.

They have some good players in the middle order too. The addition of Yuvraj Singh, they hope will provide much-required middle order stability as wells as fire power.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar is likely to lead the attack alongside Ashish Nehra. Trent Boult along with Mustafizur Rahman provides extra ammunition if the need be so .
With a good mix of experienced names and young talent, Tom Moody should be very confident ahead of IPL 2016.
