Kolkata Knight Riders’ Suryakumar Yadav pulled off a brilliant catch at the boundary on Monday, dismissing Rajasthan Royals skipper Shane Watson.
Yadav dismissed the dangerous Watson off Sunil Narine’s bowling when he held on to the ball which was fast going past him, and managed to keep his balance on one leg just inches inside the boundary rope.
Though he ended up on the losing side, Yadav won the ‘Kanna Keep Calm’ award for this spectacular effort at the end of the match.
There was another screamer taken in the field, when Ryan ten Doeschate, playing his first IPL match this season, plucked off a brilliant catch! It was Stuart Binny this time who fell to a spectacular effort in the field.
