The updated 2012 IPL auction list

The IPL auction will be held on the 4th of Feburary, 2012, at the ITC Royal Gardenia Hotel, Bengaluru, and includes players that weren’t in the initial list, as well as abandoned KTK players. The auction will be conducted by Richard Madley and will broadcast live on SET MAX in India.

Highlights:

• 40-year-old Brad Hogg is on the list.
• Ravi Bopara has had a change of heart this year – IPL over the English National Team?
• Mitchell Johnson has also realized that it will be hard to replace the likes of Cummins and Pattinson, so has put himself in the auction.
• Swann has put himself at the highest base price of $400,000.
• All KTK players are on the auction list (if not bought, BCCI will need to use deposit money to pay them)
