Adam Lyth and Aaron Finch combined to to dismiss Tom Smith and in the process, pulled off what could be seen as one of the greatest catches ever seen in the history of cricket.

In the NatWest T20 Blast game between bitter rivals Lancashire and Yorkshire, also known as the Roses Match, Smith was batting on a superbly made 55 from just 28 balls and decided to take the attack to Yorkshire bowler Adil Rashid.

The ball went miles into the air before Lyth flew in the air, caught the ball which was heading for a six and had the presence of mind to throw to it to Finch.

The most impressive part of this catch was that Lyth, from the time he caught the ball to the time he released it, always kept his feet away from the ground.
