In the final of the Quadrangular A-Team One-Day Series between Australia A and India A, Ambati Rayudu angrily gestured to both umpires after being adjudged leg before wicket. Rayudu was batting on 7, when Ben Cutting bowled a sharp in-swinger which looked to have hit the Indian batsman hit on his pads. It is tough to judge whether there is contact with the bat or not, from the video posted by Cricket Australia.

Despite Rayudu’s shortcomings, India A went on to win the match and take the series, following a superb knock of 78 from Kedar Jadhav. Lower order batsmen Rishi Dhawan and Akshar Patel took India home with an unbeaten 92-run partnership for the 7th wicket.

Cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle was enraged by Rayudu’s behaviour and took to Twitter to express his displeasure at the Mumbai Indians player’s reaction. It’ll be interesting to see if the BCCI takes against any action against the 28-year-old.
