Sachin Tendulkar is arguably the greatest cricketer of the modern era and his records speaks for itself. He is by far the leading run scorer in the ODI and Test formats but what holds the sporting legend in high esteem is the respect he has been able to command from his peers.

Australian allrounder Glenn Maxwell is no different and he shares a cordial relationship with the Master Blaster. The pair were involved in one of the most memorable moments at the 2015 ICC World Cup when Maxwell left an interview in the midst of winning the sport's biggest prize midway to have a moment with Tendulkar after noticing him a few yards away.

Maxwell's association with Tendulkar goes back to 2013 when Maxwell was signed up by Mumbai Indians for whom Sachin was ever present in the dugout. Though he didn't feature much for the 2015 IPL champions in his only season with the franchise, he certainly must have picked up a few tips from MI's mentor.

The Australian is seen here practising with Sachin in a training session for the Mumbai Indians. Maxwell has earned the nickname “The Big Show” with his tendency to go for the extravagant shots but shows that he is willing to learn the textbook stuff as he is seen imitating Tendulkar in action.
