Karun Nair the youngster from Karnataka has had an amazing week so far. He was called up for the Test series after Murali Vijay was ruled out with an injury. He will play for the Mangalore United in the Karnataka Premier League the team he also represented the past year. Karun Nair plays for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL and is a talent for the future with a lot to look forward to. He has proven himself in the domestic season to get a call to the senior team and would want to emulate his performances for both the Indian team and in the KPL.
He also said that KPL was a good initiative launched by the KSCA as it gives lesser known players a chance to prove themselves and brush shoulders with the best players from Karnataka. He also expects more players will sprout up from KPL and represent India in the future.
