Video: Shameful cricket from Pakistan and umpires

In a Test match at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, against Pakistan in 2007, as the day proceeded towards the end, former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar complained to the on-field umpires about the fading light and requested them to stop the play, as it was getting increasingly difficult to spot the ball. Steve Bucknor, one of the umpires for the match, was in no mood to listen to Tendulkar despite the Pakistan bowlers employing negative tactics, considering the situation, of bowling short at the body. It became further worse when he was declared out by Bucknor to a delivery that missed his bat quite clearly; no Pakistan fielders including the wicket-keeper supported a half-hearted appeal from the bowler Abdul Razzaq. Sachin Tendulkar walked off without conveying his displeasure just like he has always done in his career in response to such poor decisions.
