The promo features the 2015 World Cup match between the two sides which India won by 130 runs

The 2015 ICC World Cup saw India defy expectations by progressing to the semifinals of the sport’s showpiece tournament. India were in terrible form heading into the quadrennial event and not many expected Dhoni & Co to perform well.

India not only won all their matches till the semi-final stage, they did it in some style too by knocking out the opposition in every one of their seven games before being stopped by eventual champions Australia. Adding to the excitement with every passing game was the ‘Mauka Mauka’ ad campaign developed by the official TV broadcaster Star Sports.

The first of those advertisements was aired before India’s opener against Pakistan and it went viral on the internet. They followed it up with spin-offs of the original ad and each and every one of them managed to capture the imagination of the audience and fans started looking forward to the next ad as much as India’s match itself. And with India set to host South Africa for a two-month long tour, Star Sports are back with a Mauka promo ad for the series.

The ad features the 2015 World Cup match between the two teams which India won by a comfortable margin of 130 runs and begins with Indian cricket fans fearing in awe of the Proteas side which has players like AB De Villiers, Dale Steyn, Hashim Amla & many others. Virat Kohli’s drive down the ground of Steyn's fiery delivery, however, restores the faith of the audience that the hosts themselves have their star players like Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina that can give the South Africans a run for their money.

The video ends with the tagline of the series titled – Mushkil Hai. Mazza Aaega (Tough. But will be fun). Have a look at the full video below.
