During a 2012-13 Big Bash League match between Melbourne Renegades and Melbourne Stars, which the Renegades won quite comfortably to seal home semi-final berth, Stars captain Shane Warne and Renegades big hitter Marlon Samuels were involved in an ugly fight during the chase, after the latter tried to stop David Hussey from attempting a second run in the first innings of the match.
The leg-spinning legend, though, should be considered guilty of taking it too far, as he was the one who threw the ball at Samuels; the West Indian, understandably angry, sent his bat flying, before the umpires finally intervened to cool things down between the two sides.
