Vijay Mallya involved in IPL betting, Sreesanth innocent, claims Vindoo Dara Singh in sting operation

Mumbai Police Arrested Vindoo Dara Singh In Connection With Spot-fixing

In a sting operation aired by Indian channel Zee News, Vindoo Dara Singh has made some startling revelations about the alleged scams going on in the IPL. Son of the late Dara Singh, Vindoo was caught in the spot fixing scandal that took the cricketing fraternity by storm.

The 49-year claims that the IPL is ’100% fixed’, and millionaire Vijay Mallya, owner of Royals Challenger Bangalore, has made a fortune out of betting every season.

He said, “Barring Vijay Mallya nobody knows anything. Mallya is himself involved in betting, he earns 100-200 crores in IPL.”

He also claimed that Sreesanth, who was banned for life by BCCI, was wrongly indicted in the case.

“All these allegations against Sreesanth are rubbish, fraud; I will say he is 100% not guilty,” Vindoo says in the sting operation.

He also goes on to say that he was just a medium chosen by Chennai Super Kings owner and current BCCI chief N Srinivasan, and son-in-law Gurunath, to place their bets.

He said, “They (cops) said, ‘We know you haven’t done anything, but there’s pressure from Sharad Pawar sahab and until Srinivasan isn’t nabbed you will have to stay. You will have to stay here for 10-15 days or a month’.”

Vindoo claims that the entire IPL scam is actually a fight between former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi and N Srinivasan, and that Modi is just finding ways to knock the India Cements boss off his perch.

He said, “This entire case is actually a tussle between Modi and Srinivasan. We have nothing to do with it. Lalit Modi just needed a chance to get Srinivasan out.”

The Supreme Court will meet on the 7th of March for the next deliberation of this sensational case.
