Virat Kohli named 2nd most marketable athlete in the world

UK magazine SportsPro has named Virat Kohli as the 2nd most marketable athlete in the world, behind British Formula One race Lewis Hamilton.

Chosen on the basis of their value for money, age, home market, charisma, willingness to be marketed and crossover appeal, SportsPro listed the top 50 athletes in the world, rating Kohli, the only Indian in the list, on the 2nd position.

Apart from Virat, former England batsman and Delhi Daredevils skipper Kevin Pietersen (35th) is the only other cricketer to have achieved a position in the top-50 list.
