Indian Test captain Virat Kohli who will lead India in the upcoming 3 match Test series against the Black Caps will be seen sporting a new look in the Test series followed by 5 ODIs.
Kohli who is an active member on social media uploaded a picture of him heading towards a new destination after a shoot where the stylish right-hander got a new makeover. Arguably the greatest batsman of the modern generation, Kohli took to his Instagram handle and posted a picture with a caption, “You know it’s been a good day when u finish a shoot 3 hours before time and then the master at work @apenigeorge sends u back with a slick haircut.”
Kohli’s new haircut was done by Apeni George, a famous hair stylist who has previously worked for Yuvraj Singh.
The three-match Test series against New Zealand will commence on 22nd September and the Men in Blue will look to start their long and grueling home season in a sparkling fashion. India is coming off a 4 match Test series in the Caribbeans followed by a two-match T20 international series in the US against the same opponents. While India won the Test series 2-0, West Indies took the short T20 series 1-0 after the 2nd T20 was affected due to satellite problems and rain.

The Indians will be playing as many as 13 Tests, 8 ODIs and 3 T20s in the next 6 months against New Zealand, England, Australia and Bangladesh. After their win against West Indies in the 3rd Test, India propelled to the No.1 position but couldn’t hold on to their numero uno status after the final Test against West Indies was washed out due to rain.
Kohli scored the first double century in his career against the Caribbeans and would look to continue his dominating form in the upcoming 3 match Test series against the Kiwis. He has been a prolific run scorer for India across all formats and has been their mainstay in the middle order. With a big and hectic home season coming up Kohli and his troops will look to begin all guns blazing and make it a memorable home season for the Indians.
