Virender Sehwag quashes rumours of him contesting Lok Sabha elections

Recently, there were a few rumours suggesting former Indian opener Virender Sehwag might contest Lok Sabha election on congress ticket.

But the 35-year-old batsman has denied all the rumours and clearly mentioned on his twitter account that he was not contesting in the upcoming elections.

Sehwag tweeted:

England Cricketer Kevin Pietersen re-tweeted Sehwag’s tweet and jokingly urged him him to fight in the elections.

Pietersen tweeted:
