Former India batting legend Virender Sehwag used to be feared for his shots, but is feared more these days for the verbal diatribes he can deliver. Shoaib Akhtar is someone who is still nursing the wounds of having shared commentary duty during the WT20 with Sehwag.
Sehwag was in overdrive on the occasion of Rohit Sharma’s birthday on Saturday, and Hitman will surely have something to tell Sehwag the next time they meet.
With his very first tweet, Sehwag congratulated Rohit on having broken his record for the highest ODI score, which Sehwag’s 219 had briefly ruled the roost before being overtaken by Rohit’s 264 against Sri Lanka.
He said that the record for the highest Test score by an India, which is currently held by Sehwag’s 319 should be the next target for the record-breaker of the current generation.
