Who Said What: World congratulates Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane on receiving the Arjuna award

The Mumbai-duo of Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane recently got national recognition for their exemplary efforts on the cricket field by receiving the Arjuna Award for 2015 and 2016 by Vijay Goel, the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports. They could not receive the awards earlier from the President, because they were busy with their international cricket commitments.

Rohit made his debut for India in 2007, and has established himself as one of the giants of the modern one-day game, being the only batsman to score two ODI double hundreds. Rahane, on the other hand, played his first game for the country in 2011, and has slowly evolved into one of the most dependable batsmen for the Indian team, with his ability to anchor the innings and stack up huge scores.
