Yuvraj Singh diagnosed with lung cancer: Reports

Bad news for Indian cricket fans as India’s all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has been diagnosed with lung cancer. He is currently undergoing treatment in the US, according to media reports.

Yuvraj, who left for the US on 26th January, is currently undergoing chemotherapy which will go on till March. He is said to have a golf ball sized tumor between his lung and the heart.

Yuvraj’s tumor was first detected in October last year, but it was said to be non-malignant. But recent reports suggest that it can be a malignant tumor.

The 30 year old has been out of action of a long while now and last played a test against the West Indies in Kolkata in November last year.

Although, reports had suggested that Yuvraj had gone to US for surgery but Yuvraj denied the reports on twitter. He tweeted: “Haven’t done any surgery! I don’t no we’re does Such news come from I’m just on medication !”
