Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has denied rumours about his marriage with rumoured girlfriend Hazel Keech. The all-rounder took to Twitter to deny the rumours about his marriage that, according to reports, was to be held during the month of February 2016.
Yuvraj's tweet in response to the rumours was hilariously done as he requested the media to let him know the exact dates so that he could prepare himself for the wedding. Reports had mentioned the venue and month of the wedding.
Recently, Harbhajan Singh had married Bollywood actress Geeta Basra in a grand manner. Yuvraj had taken to Twitter to congratulate the couple on their wedding, to which Harbhajan responded with a subtle hint regarding the possibility of Yuvraj marrying.
Zaheer Khan, who had recently announced his retirement, also posted a tweet to Yuvraj wishing the Punjab captain to ‘get married’.
Yuvraj and Hazel have been rumoured to be dating for a while now with both of them being spotted together in public on a number of occasions. The couple were seen together at Harbhajan and Geeta's wedding, and also at a temple in Bangalore.
Yuvraj has been the captain of the Punjab squad in the Ranji Trophy since Harbhajan Singh's return to the national squad. He has played four of the five games for his state as he missed the most recent one owing to attending his friend Harbhajan's wedding.
He scored 187 against Gujarat in the third round of the Ranji matches, and also picked up three wickets in the four games he has played.
Yuvraj will be hoping to perform well in the upcoming matches as he seeks a way back into the Indian national squad. Punjab's next game is against Baroda on the November 15.
