The first adventurous day of Hero MTB Shimla took riders across a variety of adrenaline rush trails. While it was a cake walk for some, it proved itself to be really challenging for a mass of riders.
Shimla boys outshone in two categories. Devender Thakur is on the top position in Open Men's Solo Category while Akshit Gaur, only sixteen years of age is on the top position in Student's Category.
Sarah Appelt, a German rider who has been living in India since long now is on the top in Open Women's Solo Category. Johan Bentinck, a Dutch rider is on the top position Master's Solo Category.
All the riders are very enthusiastic about the second day of the race as well. The second day will mark the end of the race and the trails are expected to be even tougher than the first day.
